Are you on a budget and cannot afford
a 1930s classic or a high performance muscle car; don't
have the time or skill to create a hot rod; and a Ferrari
is simply out of the question?
Let's be practical and yet have something that will
make heads turn and make you feel proud. Most of us
want to own a car or truck that is fun one, which
stands out from the other vehicles on the road, and
something that can be driven daily. Of course, it should
come at a reasonable price and not cost too much to
get into good working condition.
Today, as you drive to and from work, you mostly see
2000 - 2011 cars, pick-up trucks and some beat-up 1990s
vehicles. For example, the Corvettes, Mustangs and Camaros
are all relatively new. But when a 1970s or 1980s Corvette,
Mustang or Camaro passes by, it grabs your attention.
Have you looked at the price of those older cars? They
are CHEAP! Parts are readily available, maintenance
is inexpensive and you can drive it every day; also
to car shows on the weekends! Just think about that.
They make sense and they are future collectibles.
Your present everyday transportation is depreciating
each day and you are just one of the "other"
cars on the road. But since a 1970s-1980s car is a collectible
in the making, it will appreciate in value with every
passing day. And if you sell it in a few years from
now, you will most likely get more than what you paid
for it.
Here are examples of auto literature that will provide
you with information for researching that special car.
