Literature collectors have reasons
to rejoice. While the stock market and real estate have
been sinking, auto literature remains an excellent investment.
But then, it has always increased in value. There is
a big difference in the cold feel of stock certificates
and a mortgage contract, and the warmth of a piece of
nostalgia or history. They are all paper but only one
of them will give you the pleasure of the memories of
good times. And because it will give pleasure to future
collectors, it will have value for them. Now that is
what makes it an investment. Car literature has passed
the test of time as a consistently relatable source
of income when sold.
Do not take my word as gospel. Let me produce the evidence
from past Automotive Chronicles articles. While others
may lay awake at night worrying about their investments,
you will sleep soundly knowing how smart you really
are.
Note that in old articles some items shown may no longer
be available. We endeavor to find replacements as rapidly
as possible.

Both Ways

collectors are only aware of what trends are occurring

of cars built. |

Profitable
Portfolio!
Old
literature just sits there and gains in value as
long as it is kept in good condition. You do not
have to monitor your investment as you do with stock
or real estate. |
