Racing and show programs and annual
reports are categories of literature that are overlooked
by many collectors. Whether you are interested in just
one specific car, one make of car, or have varied interests,
programs and annual reports contain numerous photographs
of automobiles and other vehicles that were being shown
at show or introduced by corporations. Often these photographs
are ones that you will not find in brochures. And this
limited printing literature is much more rare than brochures.
Annual Reports were sent only to shareholders and programs
were distributed only at events after which they were
usually thrown away.

Often it is easy to tell if your car
was at the show by just looking at a photograph of the
cover such as the Chevrolet Impala Hardtop Coupe, Bonneville
Convertible and Buick Limited 2-Door Hardtop on the
1957 General Motors Corporation Annual Report shown
here. IMPORTANT: Note that cars shown are 1958 models
which were being introduced for the following year.
But, even if your exact car is not shown in the program
or annual report, the literature is nonetheless an important
part of the history of a car and belongs in a complete

What you see here
is a selection of programs and annual reports that have
pretty covers. But there are a tremendous number of
"plain vanilla" programs and annual reports
which are packed with information and photographs and,
like the 1948 Kaiser-Frazer Annual Report shown here,
are quite rare.
