When new, a car enthusiast is likely
to save Corvette brochures and not even bother picking
up something as common as a Pinto catalog. While Corvettes
were getting a lot of attention, Pintos were putting
on more miles and servicing our transportation needs.
Consequently, more people spent more time in and around
Pintos than they did with Corvettes.
If you or your parents owned a Pinto there is bound
to be some nostalgia involved. Thirty years later experiences
revolving around the Pinto haunt you when you see what
is now becoming a rare car. Do a Google search and you
will see a surprising amount of interest in these cars.
A lot of time spent in the cars means a lot of memories.
Pinto literature is beginning to be collectible and
often hard to find. Remember, not many collectors thought
about saving it. For now it is relatively inexpensive,
but as more collectors look for it prices will rise.
When was the last time you thought about your first
car? It probably wasn't a Corvette. Think about the
memories.
