This year, the world's
three most luxurious and expensive cars ever built were
introduced. DaimlerChrysler's Maybach, Rolls-Royce's
Phantom and Bentley's Continental GT all provide quality,
advance engineering and the latest technology, but only
Bentley is a sporty touring car, if not an outright
sportscar.

A 552 b.h.p. twin-turbo
W-12 with all-wheel drive for $149,940 makes it the
best buy of the three and the most fun. To top if all
off, Bentley took first and second place at LeMans this
year. And there is heritage involved. W.O. Bentley built
his first Bentley in 1919 and won LeMans in 1924, 1927,
1928 and 1930.
McLellan's Automotive History is the only literature
company to ever obtain all the Bentley brochures from
1919 to the present during its 44 years of collecting,
buying and selling literature. Along with a 1925 Bentley
3 Litre Speed Model Tourer at the company headquarters,
the company archives currently exhibit a display of
"Vintage Bentley" (1919-1932) brochures on
their www.BDC-Texas.org
web site. Also available are Bentley art and photographs,
Bentley Drivers Club information and the latest information
about the cars and corporate news.
In 1932 Bentley was acquired by Rolls-Royce and brochures,
press kits, out-of-print books and memorabilia from
the 1950s to the present (currently VW ownership) are
available at:
